Finding the right shade of replacement wardrobe doors proved to be quite a challenge for us. Personally, I did not expect that we would have such a difficult time looking for the same shade as the wall paint that I had requested for my room walls. The designer and I had to go far past our own neighborhood just to get the right mauve that we needed for my room. It was a good thing that ingenuity strikes when you needed it most.
The wardrobe doors were simply painted with the same shade. This was the decision that the interior designer had to resort to. Despite his better judgment, he was left with no recourse since even his contacts could not produce the same color. Despite all these, I would still give him the credit for, instead, finding the right texture for the door. At least, it still looked good even with the new paint being coated on it and complemented that actual design on its glass panel, too.
